    my last mock of 2012

I tried to think outside the box a bit yet address areas of weakness.

    rd player pos school
    1 Eifert TE Notre Dame
    2a Lemonier DE Auburn
2b Wheaton WR Oregon St from Colts
    3a Rambo FS Georgia
3b Franklin RB UCLA from Bears
4 McFadden CB San Diego St
    5 Wetzel OL Boston Coll
    7 J. Rodgers QB Vanderbilt

Honestly, I'm fine if K Allen, D Jordan or Eifert is Miami's 1st round pick. The phins may need to acquire at 16 or thereabout. Otherwise, the Falcons or someone in the bottom of of round 1 might draft him.

Thomas s/b traded and Franklin drafted. Yes, that is Aaron's brother is round 7. Moore will walk. Philbin brings the Packers philosophy of acquiring a young QB every so often for development if nothing else.

Just depending on the Vontae trade, Miami may not have a 6th round pick. Ironically, Miami traded their 6th rounder to SF to draft Miller. That pick went to Detroit who drafted Jonte Green who is now starting for the Lions.

I love the "Eifert" PICK but we're going to need another explosive receiver beside Wheaton.

I like eifert, rambo, and rodgers.... but i dont think rodgers will be around if we wait that long. I think hes better than a 7th round pick.

Like all of your picks except the last two. The offensive line should definitely be addressed earlier. Wheaton will last until the mid 3rd round also. I can't make my own thread now so I'll post my draft(s).

Considering Long leaves in free agency.
    1. Jake Matthews OT
    2. Stedman Bailey WR
    2. Sean Porter OLB
    3. Ryan Swope WR
    3. Leon McFadden CB
    4. Cornelius "Tank" Carradine DE
    5. Travis Bond OG
    6. John Boyett FS
    7. Caleb Sturgis K
    7. BPA

    1. Tyler Eifert TE
    2. Justin Hunter WR
    2. Jordan Poyer CB
    3. Oday Aboushi OT
    3. Gerald Hodges LB
    4. Shawn Williams S
    5. Marquess Wilson WR
    6. Dustin Hopkins K
    7. Cierre Wood RB
    7. Anthony "Amp" McCloud DT

My problem was with a possible lack of a 6th. How do I slot Wetzel & Rodgers?

I do like Lemon from Syracuse but feel he & Binns seem the same in terms of measureables.

At this point, there isn't another speed WR that intrigues me. Miami does need someone like R Cobb from the Packers. Marcus Thigpen, perhaps?

I'm really liking that draft. I think Eifert would be a really good fit and Wheaton is that guy who can stretch the defense. Lemonier is a little underrated, but I like him a lot. Tough to fill all the needs, but maybe Miami can find a corner in free agency.

I would absolutely hate a Lemonier pick. But if we end up with Eifert, Wheaton, Rambo, I couldn't complain too much. I also really like the Franklin choice. His speed is jaw dropping. He's going to have a rough introduction to the pros though if he still thinks he can bounce everything to the outside. That's obviously a little high for Eifert and I'm not big on Lemonier, but overall I like that mock.

What's eiforts projected 40-time? Pick ~15 is pretty rich for a TE, we'd have to be convinced he's a potential star. If he comes we can't spend 4-5 mil on Fasano as they'll occupy the same traditional inline TE.

I understand it being a little high for Eifert. Wasn't #8 a bit high for Tannehill?

TE's fall off after Eifert. Miami's next best option IMO is Jordan from the Gators in the 2nd.

Having Eifert, Clay, on Reggie on the field at the same time will help Tannehill.
