How'd you brilliant GM do today? You still think after 4 years, he's any closer to beating the Pats? Even splitting the season with them? No.
I never said I would be, but if I honestly believed that I would be a "brilliant gm", I would be pursuing that career path.

Poll: Do you trust Ireland with our 2013 season?

one more thing… ask & answer:

we just went 7-9, posting 2-4 in AFCE.

is Jeff Ireland anywhere close to Bill Belichick at being a competent GM. because to answer that question, he has to produce a roster that can consistently win its division. that means at least 4-2.

anyone believe he gets it done in what will arguably be a single 'lame duck' offseason?

Many of us agree with this.

Ireland is going to hamper both Philbin and Tannehill the longer he is here...

Im sorry Im only a soldier in the army protecting the country and that my stepdad was not an nfl player and my grandfather was not an nfl scout like Ireland my bad but im sure none of these contributed to ireland getting a job in the nfl
Regardless of our disagreement I do want to thank you for your service.

There are several children born with silver spoons in their mouths, but do not amount to anything. Yes he had an advantage but he still had to work to get there. It would be unfair to discredit someone because of their background.

If you are so positive you can do better than as a dolphins fans I urge you to pursue it.

We know belichick is a great coach. We know what Ireland brings to the table, but we do not know how good of a coach Philbin will be. At the same point in time Sparano looked like a hall of fame coach. While I agree that I believe Philbin is a good coach, it's only speculation at this point. I also would say that we could have had the greatest gm in history, but if we have a horrible coach, we would still under perform. It's not clear that we have put together a winning organization yet, but it takes a entire organization to win a super bowl. A GM, a coach, nor a qb can do it alone. I really think that Ross should give Ireland and Philbin 3 years and if there is no improvement then start clean. It's hard to change an organizations culture when you keep half of your management team.

Ireland needs to land in a place where losing is appreciated and expected - I fully expect the Washington Generals to make a run at him the moment he is fired by the Dolphins (whenever that may be) as it would be a great fit.
    Fire Jeff Ireland
