I can see him going back to Tampa Bay. He likes Florida, and Tampa has a decent team.
Oakland is more of a project.
He is looking for a good team in a weak division.
Gruden will likely go to a team that has the play off talent, but is in disarray. That describes Philadelphia, but i don't think he would join a NFCE team.
I don't see him taking on any team that is a full blown project rebuild if he should return.
Chances are greater that he is just bluffing. He is an attention whore if you ask me.

He'll end up in Philly. Already a WCO team with plenty of weapons. Maybe they will swing a trade for Alex Smith or pick him up when he gets cut.

Philly sounds right to me too. That looks like a pretty serious rebuilding job, though.

If he takes any job it will be the Chargers. Gruden will not accept a job that doesnt have a veteran franchise quarterback to run his complex West Coast offense.

Many people have their opinion on Phillip Rivers and the results of the past few years speak for itself. But he is still respected in the league and still viewed as a franchise quarterback. The Chargers have been building a fairly talented defense recently and if they can provide Rivers some protection and weapons i could see coaches being very interested in that franchise.

I will remember you TeddSlimmJr and Spesh, after we win it all, I'll just sit back and laugh with fond memories of my superior football IQ.

I agree...SD has a good roster and looks like a good fit. I wouldnt be suprised if this has been a done deal for some time now.
