    Interesting Revisiting FinHeaven Staff Predictions

The 2012 Miami Dolphins season is now officially in the books and it is time to revisit the FinHeaven staff's predictions for the season. Who was the most accurate, and who was most inaccurate?

Two staff members, Nublar7 and Wildbill3, accurately predicted a 7-9 season. Dolfan3773 was the most inaccurate with a predicition of a 4-12 season. Click the link to see how everyone fared.

and Nubs I'd bet you got some flack for being such an " unrealistic homer" for that prediction, eh?

I really never expected more than 5 wins... so this was an overachieving season for us... our offense is gonna be pretty solid next year

Wasn't too hard to predict this season. We knew that with a rookie QB and HC that this team would struggle at times this year. I was off by a couple.

Other than my prediction Matt Moore would have to take over, I think I was pretty spot on.

Yes I did and I still get accused of being a "blind cluless homer" because of my thoughts on the team. Not only did I nail the 7-9 record prediction(Only Wildbill3 matched me in that regards), but I also think it is safe to say I nailed the DPOTY(Wake), OPOTY(Buhs) and ROTY(Tannehill).

Hey hey there mister, I was one missed field goal away from being perfect myself, 8-8 with Wake, Bush and Tannehill. lol.

Tannehill developed much faster than I expected and Philbin was impressive IMO. I was spot on about our ability to score points and our complete lack of playmakers. I am also spot on about the fact that there are no more excuses with all the offseason money and picks available. Where I went wrong was thinking we'd lose to the Bengals and Seahawks. The D played lights out in both games and Tannehill played two of his best games. I have absolutely no problem being wrong about those. We beat two GOOD teams, rather than the garbage we usually beat that is usually touted as something impressive (see the six awesome wins last year), and most of the bad teams we were supposed to beat (except the Titans, seriously, what the ****?).

I got to see Tannehill develop, Philbin develop into what looks to be a pretty good head coach (finally), and I got to drink a lot of beer. Add the chance load up on playmakers this offseason and the freefall of the jests; I'd say that the season exceeded my expectations.

I put way too much stock in a guy that I've never liked and never wanted here.

    Brandon Marshall.

Ryan Tannehill impressed us all and I think he's more than deserving of consideration for Offensive Player of the Year. Where would this team have been with Matt Moore? I cringe when I think about it.
