I hate when people complain about his age.
Reggie Wayne just had a amazing year going on 34. WRs can play into there late 30s with ease.
SIGN HIM UP!

SAMMY WATKINS IS THE BEST WR IN THE COUNTRY & FUTURE MIAMI DOLPHIN!

Another thing I like about signing Jennings - he would come cheaper than Wallace which leaves more cap space to target a TE like Keller or Cook or a CB/OG/OT.
Just grabbing an elite receiver isnt enough, we would need Jennings, a new wr, Hartline, Bess and a pass catching TE to pair with Fasano to have a proper west coast offense like Philbin wants. We cant overpay a reciever like Wallace in free agency and not leave enough cash to improve his offense around him. Look at the Lions or Chicago, you don't just need an elite receiver you need an elite offense to compete. If we overpay on an alpha receiver and neglect to build around him we wont be in a much better position than we are now.

I agree. We need more than a WR. We need 2 plus a TE to go along with Miller who imo should be the starter next year.

Ozzy rules!!
Against Vontae Davis. I laughed at seeing that. Thank god we at least got a 2nd round pick out of that dud. So much talent but zero mental ability. Shame.

Jennings YAC is better than I remember. He has an incredibly strong base. STRONG runner, considering he's only 6 200.
I've never seen a situation and a player align so perfectly. It absolutely has to happen unless there is something wrong with Greg's health, or if he demands crazy Vincent Jackson type money
My thing would be can Tannehill make all those throws Rodgers made in that video?

Jennings has great hands, runs great routes and knows how to run after he catches the ball....our receivers catch it and then seem to fall down or fly out of bounds....we need a #1 WR like Jennings who can take it to the house. I hope Ireland makes him an offer, than we can use one of second rounders for a guy like Stedman Bailey. I also like ERTZ, the Stanford TE.

Tannehill had a few throws this year that, if they were on target, would have been big plays/touchdowns. Honestly, it's all about windows. A guy like Jennings gives you that window more often than a guy like Hartline.

Did Hartline give Tannehill that window? He did. And a lot of the time, Hartline was hit perfectly. But a couple of times, he was not. If Tannehill is hitting that window only 65% of the time (which for us sounds insane, but for a professional QB, it should be somewhere in the 80s-90s) you have Hartline being missed almost 2 out of 5 times. If he's only getting a window like that twice a game, those aren't great odds. Barely above 50%.
Jennings, in that same situation, would make that window open about twice as much. And I say this loving Hartline for what he is. A strong possession receiver with the greatest body control I've seen since Larry Fitzgerald. Besides that and route running, he pretty much lacks everything else. No strong base (he falls down literally every catch) and he doesn't have elite speed.
So if Jennings is getting those windows more often, the odds say we will simply have more big plays. And guess what? It's very possible tannehill improves his deep ball. Tom Brady used to throw a horrific deep ball, but he improved. Aaron Rodgers out of college was nowhere near the level he is today.
Big Ben never had a nice deep ball.
