Yea CUSE blasted us I know. We have an awful D and ou O is based on speed and that slop was no place for speed. But no excuses we got it handed to us. Austin and Bailey are better than that game showed. Hopefully Ireland saw them all year long!

Austin seems interesting but also seems like a luxury to have can he run routes or go deep?

Austin didnt really go deep alot. He is definantly fast enough to go deep though. He would go across the middle alot and could take it the distance at any time. He played RB against Oklahoma. I think he had over 500 total yds that game. I think he rushed for like 300. It was awesome!

Yeah I looked it up, 21 rushes for 344 yds-- 4 rec for 82. That is against a good D in Oklahoma. Austin is a threat anytime he touches it. A dual threat as well playing WR and RB.

    I'd much rather have Bailey.
yes sir! even though WV was dominated by Syr Bailey hit on a slant and screen and deep if I am not mistaken. Austin was pretty much held in check for the most part. I know they probly keyed on him but SU defense has stiffened up in run game lately.

ya know, there are interesting Syracuse guys we could draft late or after draft. OL Pugh I think is a versatile guy. Thomas the safety is not bad either.

Yes he can. Probably not the deep thread Bailey is, but Austin isn't slow... might be a tad faster. Bailey is more of a pure. Though both would help a lot in the passing game I feel.

Can we go Tyler Eifert with our 1st? Then draft BOTH these guys with our 2nds, then D all the way (with a G shoved in there, or as FA)...imagine the sudden burst of energy this Offense would get!!

Honestly I agree with you. Maybe not at 12 but I would love to trade down to the early 20s late teens and take him. He's the redzone threat were missing. Eifert goes up and gets it. All of this changes if Werner is available at 12. We have to end up some way with eifert or ertz. TE is a young qb best friend

Steadman Bailey is a stud...and going to be a good player. I like Austin as well...but with Davone Bess here he doesn't really do much for us at the moment. Now, if you can find someone who wants to trade you a mid-round pick for Bess...then I would absolutely trade Bess and draft a Tavon Austin. I love Bess...I think he is a great guy and a good player...but he just doesn't bring any type of game breaking ability to the slot.
