yeah, lets draft Flutie.....lol
Ozzy rules!!

Has Doug Flutie written all over him - I would have a hard time selecting any smallish running QB -over a QB who will stand in the pocket and can read a Defense

technically he can enter next year as he is a RS freshmen. Either way, as good as Johnny Football is, he has a lot of his weaknesses hidden in the offense Sumlin and Kingsbury brought to A&M with them. I'm 99% certain that Tannehill would have looked amazing in that offense as well. Again not taking anything away from Johnny Football, but the spread hides weaknesses of a lot of QBs.

The Best

He's a good player, but that offense made Case Keenum look all-world. I take a wait and see approach on Johnny Football.

Not just Keenum, Sumlin's offense is based off the Mike Leach/Hal Mumme Air Raid. His first OC was Leach assistant Dana Holgorson and his next OC was arguably the best QB to play under Leach Kliff Kingsbury. So the offense has made the following QBs have record setting seasons...

Kliff Kingsbury (though he's a great coach)
BJ Symmons
Sonny Cumbie
Graham Harrell
Chase Keenum
Jason White
Josh Huepel
Geno SMith (though he's gonna get a shot at being a pro)

Can Manziel play WR? He may be good with that at the next level
It would be unprecedented to draft a HS Sr... this isn't the NBA you know.

Sounds just like the media people falling in love with a player after 2-3 good games(Christian Ponder at the beginning of this season) Johnny is a fun college player who has talent but like several others said who knows how he looks with the big boys in the NFL. But he is fun to watch right now.
