Just like the defenses Tebow faced in the SEC. Still doesn't make him an NFL-caliber quarterback.
Tebow didn't light up anything but the bench as a freshman.

Irrelevant. Manziel is not a starting NFL prospect no matter how well he does against college defenses. It doesn't translate.

I would absolutely take Johnny football over Tannehill. Like Luck, Wilson and RGIII, Johnny Football has been great. Tannehill has never been great on any level. Now before the homer's come out crying about bashing Tanny, let it be known that I like Ryan Tannehill and think he'll be a very good NFL QB. I just don't think he'll be great because he never has been.

    More specific please. Sources ?

RGIII and Russell Wilson were not in Scouts Inc. top 100 until early November of last year.

It was said Drew Brees' game would not translate to the NFL either. How did that work out?

People that know football, both college and pro, know that Manziel isn't a great prospect.

Ryan Tannehill, Johnny reeks as just a great college quarterback, but who knows it's too early to make this comparison. Right now Ryan is a way better NFL prospect, but who knows Johnny could develop into more of a prostyle player.

Also keep in mind Manziel is doing this against SEC defenses. Not the garbage defenses Tannehill faced.
You do realize they went to the same school?!? Or are you trying to say that the SEC is better than the Pros? Either way... Epic fail

I don't think people here realize that Manziel is not a starting NFL quarterback prospect. He's closer to Eric Crouch than he is Ryan Tannehill.
I was just going to post the same thing.
