I wouldnt go that far. I mean this is Ray Lewis we are talking about. I bet there isnt one coach in the NFL who is a better motivationalist than Ray Lewis. Thats not to say these HC's are bad HC's or even bad motivators, but again, I doubt they are as good as Ray Lewis in the motivating department.

If a HC needs a motivational speaker he needs fired and the team needs new players!

He's not going to have any interest in coaching. He wants to watch his son play football and then he'll command close 50k per speaking arrangement...pretty nice life.

as soon as he annouced his retirement, i was gonna thread "Coach Ray Lewis?"... def bring him home... he can do for out LB corp, what Ken Norton's doin' for the 9'ers
Isn't Ken Norton jr the linebacker coach for Seattle
I'm pretty sure the LB coach for San Fran is Jim Leavitt

and I believe Norton was never on the coaching staff of the 49ers.

Damn, I'm really surprised with all the Ray Ray hate...especially considering he is a Cane!
Unfortunately, we live in a world of politics and there's always someone trying to take someone out or sway public opinion one way or another.

But to the point, if they can't accept a player like Brandon Marshall, I don't think Ray Lewis would be a good fit.

I'd be open to the idea, because I really don't know the dude and everyone makes mistakes.

FYI everyone a few days after he announced his retirement he agreed to a deal with espn to become a commentator. He won't be looking to become a coach for a few years
