I thought Sherman did a fine job considering he had little talent to work with, tannehill was hurt for a spell and we seem to be running a pretty complicated offense. Lets get him some weapons and a full year under the offenses belt to see what he can do before writing him off.

Losing Sherman (or any of the coaches) would be a huge blow, theres no doubt about it (as Philbin would say).

He sucks as a coordinator too. His play calling was awful at times.
Bro I challenge you to be a little more defined when describing a player or coach more than "he sucks".

I think all the hate on Sherman has gone a little overboard. Honestly didn't have many problems with the playcalling given their lack of playmakers. I'd be sad to see him leave so soon.

Agreed. The reality is that if Tannehill becomes an elite quarterback like we all hope, playcalling will not be an issue. And I for one prefer Tannehill to have consistency with his system as he develops.

    Mort on 32: Sherman

if Sherman wants my vote, he:

    a) sends RT down to Buggsgottalottuvum Mississippi to spend a month-or-two with Farve… and,

    2) get him back over to IMG and work work work with Weinke

Sucks as a head coach, but he is not the head coach here.

I truly believe he and Zac Taylor are very critical pieces in the development of Ryan Tannehill. If Sherman leaves, Taylor will likely follow him and suddenly Tannehill is probably learning a new offensive system. Not good.
If we are relying on those two guys then we are in serious trouble.

Sherman is only being looked at because there have been some crappy canidates but he was solid as Green Bay's coach. If he left not sure I would miss him much although I think he will do a good job for us in long run.
There are coordinators out there that are probably better.

He was solid in Green Bay because Ron Wolf handed a great team which Sherman went on to destroy.

We've been waiting for 10 years. Enough.
