lol @ that Jones extension, unless you want this guy to have a future holdout you better respect him more.
Jones is set to only make $575k in 2013. Give him a nice little raise to $3m for 2013, $4m for 2014, $6m for 2015 and $7m for 2016. If he continues to excel we can always try to restructure him again in 2015.

Uh how about no? How about Jones is a Top 3 Safety in the NFL and is going to want to get paid like one? His starting raise will begin at 10 million annually.

    Sign:

    Mike Wallace 5 years $70 ($14)
    Greg Jennings 4 years $46 ($11.5)
    Brian Hartline 5 year $30 ($6)
    Chris Clemmos 3 year $6 ($2)
Use about $10 to re-sign depth guys, kicker, FA Guard or Tackle

    Extend Jones 4 years $20 ($5)
    Extend Odrick 4 years $20 ($5)

Trade Davone Bess for a 2nd or 3rd
    Trade Koa Misi
    Cut Incognito
    Cut Dan Carpenter

    Draft
With the 6 picks in the first 3 rounds draft:
    TE
    Tackle/Guard
    WR
    2 CBs
    LB
With the later round picks get RBs and a kicker

Toughest decision: Hate to see Reggie go as he was my favorite player this season but he's too pricey and not durable enough for a running back. I'm gonna roll the dice that Lamar Miller can carry the load.

Might be a little short on $$$ but some contracts can be back loaded, especially Hartline, Jones and Odrick.
Roy your a nice guy like alot of your posts but 14 mill for Wallace and 11 for Jennings as well as 6 for Hartline wow talk about overspending also Odrick that much really . I also doubt Bess is worth a second

for 10 million a year Jones can walk too lol. Safeties are not worth that kind of money, its like taking a center with a top 10 pick

The dude has a lot of upside but top 3 safety in the NFL? There is no way we're paying him anywhere close to $10 million next season, if Jones wants to turn down the extension and play for $500k then so be it, that seems a little risky to me.

No S is making anywhere near that. I don't even think Reed had a year where he made 1o million.

I love Jones and thinks he's a top S in the NFL, but that's crazy money.

he may feel he is a top 3 saftey but at this point the league doesnt and for 10 million we should get a better player at a more important position
