    Mort on 32: Sherman

Mort mentioned on NFL 32 that Mike Sherman might be a candidate in Chicago. FYI.

Wish him luck if he gets an interview and I see no real loss for the Dolphins there as his play calling became suspect late in the year.

This has always been my fear this offseason. I really hope Sherman doesn't leave.

I'm not sure I'd mind to be honest. Sherman didn't turn out to be as much of an offensive mastermind as I expected. However, I do expect Tannehill to take a step back if Sherman isn't his OC.

No big loss, he sucks as a head coach. He destroyed the Packers and TAMU didn't start winning until they canned his ass.

I honestly dont think this is a bad thing. Sherman's playcalling was really suspect at times last year, and I question whether or not Philbin could pull the trigger on firing his mentor if that situation ever were necessary. But honestly I dont think Sherman gets a head coaching gig this year, maybe if the offense sees major improvements next year due to the (hopefully) new weapons Tannehill will have.

It depends on who becomes his coordinator but not sure after the past season if Sherman is the answer.

Sucks as a head coach, but he is not the head coach here.

I truly believe he and Zac Taylor are very critical pieces in the development of Ryan Tannehill. If Sherman leaves, Taylor will likely follow him and suddenly Tannehill is probably learning a new offensive system. Not good.
