He wasn't even good enough for the jest... the JEST... to call him back.

    Want him replacing ireland?

That's like choosing between arsenic and strychnine.
He could have been one of the many to tell the Jets "No".

With their cap hell and QB/coach situation, the Jets cannot afford to be the least bit picky.

The Yets should hire RamCam, at-least they could fall forward fast.

Actually since they have had some actual people come in for interviews like Angelo they can be as picky as the canidates will allow. Most gms realize they are going to teams that are not perfect which is the reason they fired the old gm in the first place. PersonallyI feel the best gm to get them out of cap hell is Pioli but he probably dont want the job. Pioli has always managed the cap quite well

Re: Brian Gaine to Interview for Jets GM Job this Week

I think the biggest problem is the new GM is required to keep Ryan. If they were allowed to bring in their own staff, they might have hired someone already.

Forgive my spelling. This was sent from my phone.

i dont think that is a problem for most gms's but it all depends on the outlook the gm has of the coach. ryan was coach for two consecutive championship games he has earned another year unlike our own gm

True enough. But that was also two seasons ago now.

It should definately be a do or die year for Ryan but I do think that is worth giving him the extra year
