-United States has the highest gun ownership in the world. But ranks 28th in gun homicide.

-The last 20 years has seen a 50% drop in violent crimes and murders in the U.S.

-Less than 3% of gun crimes involve so call "assault weapons".

-The UK has the second highest overall crime rate in the EU.

-The 5th highest robbery rate.

-The 4th highest burglary rate.

-The EU named Britian as the most violent country in the EU.
