We are all aware of this but both teams misused and/or underused him. And taken out of many a goaline opportunity. I know it can be said for a lot of guys but given touches he scores.
I don't know if I would say he is underused, I will agree that we don't always use him the right way though. I just don't think he is worth big money. If he comes back for a reasonable deal I would be all for it. But with Lamar Miller on the squad I don't know how much longer we will really need Reggie. We have holes in our roster that really need to be filled and spending big on Bush to me wouldn't be our best option long term. Again with that being said I do like Reggie and what he has done for the fins since he has arrived here

he has had 15 in two years, thats def not always. i still dont think bush should get more carries than miller next year. miller puts a foot down and goes, bush dances way to much in the backfield. dont get me wrong he is a homerun threat, but with more carries so is miller
Bess, Hartline and Fasano have 16 total in the last 2 seasons. compared to Bush's 15. It would be wise to resign him.

Wow he scores a whopping 6.28 TD per year. Sure can't give up an asset like that.

If we can sign him for fair tvalue or better, we absolutely should. He is an excellent example for the rest of the team; never makes waves, always works hard, accepts responsibility for his mistakes, and stays out of trouble off the field. Oh, and he can make 5-7 guys miss on a single play. I say pay him and play him... no more of this 12-15 carries, I want to see 20 carries a game.
    Finally some sense!

I think you meant to say 20 TOUCHES a game. He needs the ball more in open field situations, if we can start to figure out how to use him in screens he could be lethal. Didn't see much of that this year. But I say keep him, dont overpay him but give him fair market value for a mid level starting RB. Hes not the problem, its how weve been using him IMO. Get him 12-15 carries and 5 or 6 receptions a game and he could be lighting it up.
    "hey atleast I'm housebroken!"

We should try to sign Reggie Bush to a reasonable contract

Here are the big free agent running backs from last year with salary and production
($3.5M to Michael Bush was the biggest last year)

Green-Ellis to Cincy for 3 year $9M contract ($3M per) 1198 yards from scrimage
Bush to Bears for 4 year $14M contract ($3.5M per) 494 yards from scrimage
Tolbert to Carolina for 4 year $8.4M contract ($2.1M per) 451 yards from scrimage
Hillis to KC for 1 year $3M contract ($3M per) 371 yards from scrimage
Benson to GB for 1 year 825K contract (825K per) 345 yards from scrimage
Grant to GB for 1 year 700K contract (700K per) 161 yards from scrimage

That should give us an idea about how much to offer.

    Dude scores TDs......................

Yea, against Buffalo. Even Mark Sanchez does that.

Of all of Bush's TDs the last 2 seasons, how many of them came vs. the Bills?

3 of 12, so 25% of his TDs. Let's not forget the two amazing TDs vs those juggernaut raiders.

AFC east and AFC games are the most important.
