So, states aren't allowed to secede, but they are eligible to be kicked out? Ummm, yeah. I think that short bus just pulled up to take you back to the home....
Nothing better to say, revert to insults. That's cool with me. I revert Mo's picture back to both of you.

What liberty is being attacked? That you can't carry around an assault weapon? That you have to go through a more thorough process in order to carry a gun?
Technically the requirement to have a driver license, insurance etc to drive a car is an infringement on my right to express myself. I should be able to build my own car (dam all safety regulations) and just drive it at any age. I should also be able to drive through a red light. It is my way of expressing myself. Why do we even have traffic lights? Let the strongest win at any intersection. It is all so restrictive and violates my constitutional, individual right.

Sounds ridiculous? Yeah it does. So does your everlasting "my rights, my rights, my rights" when your rights under the constitution are not being attacked or put in danger (at least not in the 2nd amendment case).

Who said that a State is being kicked out Mo? Did I? Nooooooo.

But can a State secede? The constitution is really not very clear on that. The only example we have is a Supreme Court decision in the 19th century which declared the Union as final. But I am sure if a State wants to and all members would agree and Congress would put forth an amendment (with 2/3 majority) it would be possible. And if a State would really want to who is going to stop them? But nobody has seriously tried it in modern history. The money from Washington is just too good (Governor Perry would agree with that). Therefore the States play to the simple minded who really don't know a darn thing about the constitution except sing in a chorus "my right my right" and keep collecting Federal money.

Hey, worst/best case scenario a revolution should solve the issue.

Taking away semi-automatic rifles is a violation of our 2nd amendment rights. Especially if done with an EO. It's no different than if the president decided to limit or curtail the first amendment or 4th. Imagine if Obama did away with free press with an EO or took away warrants for searches (something he's already does). Then a state should have all fed money taken away from them because they dared to stand up to a clear attack on the Bill of Rights???

Tell me something should all those cities that put up anti-NDAA laws protecting their citizens from Obama have their money taken away too???

    got his widdel feewing hoit.

You dont have a RIGHT to operate a vehicle. It is a priveledge regulated by the state with requirements. Traffic laws are in place for the public safety. By your standard you dont have to pull over for an ambulance. Anarchy is not the law of this Land Corky. That you can try and use that as an analogy to infringe on second amendment rights for law abiding citizens shows you're a retard. Plus the fact you dont even read your own links as shown in the viagra question, which you've never owned up to.

The Government will never allow any state to secede. The war of Northern Aggression made sure the Union is a suicide pact between the states.

Now TRY to open your mind to learning something.

The funny thing is, i have heard of no one that has said "we want you to give up your second amendment rights". That is just your interpretation with the placement of certain limits.
This is and always will be my point in the argument. Regardless of your stance on guns this is a freedoms battle and the right to those freedoms. We fought hard to gain freedom and to give it up is asinine, if politicians were imposing a ban on what could or couldn't be said at a protest people would be crying blasphemy.

This gun battle is no different.

That's good for them. Then Washington should cut funding to Wyoming. Nearly 20% of the State budget is funded by money from the federal coffers. And the disaster aid from 2011 can be paid back as well.
North Dakota too? Nearly 40% of their State budget is federal dollars.
Based on your statement I'm not sure that you are aware that it's largely the states that fund the federal government. What are the revenue sources that don't go through the states? How much revenue does Washington DC generate on it's own?

It would probably be equally easy/difficult for states to interrupt the flow of federal income tax to the Feds as it would be for the Feds to stop sending it back.
