Playoff Picks- Dog's Day's Coming?

Yeah, with the points. My YPPA Differential system had all the favorites last week and went 4-0. I'm not thrilled with the card it spit out this week, since I'm betting against Brady, Rodgers, Ryan and Flacco. On the surface that appears to have more potential for a poor week than a great week so I maneuvered a little bit, playing some round robins and parlays instead of 100% straight bets. I hate to make subjective judgments but I also hate to give away 4-0. This way I won't lose nearly as much if I have an awful week. A great week will still pay handsomely. At 2-2 I'll fare somewhat worse than via straight bets.

The numbers vary a little bit from ticket to ticket, since I had to wager at different joints. Wynn had some great numbers today and my friend snagged them for us. But generally, it's:

* Denver -8
* San Francisco -2.5 -120
* Seattle +3 -115
* Houston +10

Didnt know this thread was in here as well as VIP.

Again, Im going with New England and Denver to win comfortably.

In the NFC I like Green Bay and Matty Ice to advance to the NFCCG.

This leaves the top QBs in the game to battle it out for a trip to the SB of course.

It also would keep alive my preseason pick of Peyton vs. Matty Ice in the Super Bowl. Both teams earned homefield throughout by having the best records in the league.

3. Was going to post my playoff predicitions thread in the general NFL forum so here it goes real quick with no explainations.....

NE, Baltimore, Houston, Denver win divisions
Pittsburgh and San Diego as WC teams. Again, I couldve taken the phins, bengals, titans, colts, chiefs, or raiders there. AFC is not stout this season so I will throw in my boy Philip Rivers as the WC team.

NYG, Chicago, Atlanta, San Fran win divisions
Detroit and New Orleans take wild cards. Unlike the AFC, this conference has some quality teams you must leave off the board. Hell, I left Green Bay off.

Super Bowl...... Peyton Manning vs. Matty Ice!!!

Overall those were some decent predictions. I nailed all 4 division winners in the AFC and saw those 4 teams being head and shoulders above the rest. That played out. I shouldve taken the Colts to win a wildcard as that was my instinct the weeks before I posted that thread.

In the NFC I was foolish enough to think Green Bay wouldnt get in. I didnt think they would have a horrible season, I just saw a lot of quality teams in the conference. The Bears folded on me as they usually do. The Giants folded up too. Detroit just plain blows. Only a sucker wouldve taken them to qualify for the playoffs over Green Bay...

But, what its going to come down to is the best QBs in the league battling it out in the championship games. Matty Ice vs. Rodgers and Peyton vs. Brady. Were in for some great football the next couple of weeks. These are my favorite 2 weekends of football. The divisional round is outstanding with 2 games on back to back days. I think we have the best 4 teams in each conference going at it.

FWIW, Only the NFC East does not have a team left in the fight since Seattle won the battle of wounded knee last week. Ive been saying that division is highly overrated.
