The same way that everything that is anchored to the stadium now and in the past. Bolts, nuts and concrete anchors.

But the canopy seems to have a lot more delicate pieces, and it is essentially a sail if heavy wind goes inside of the stadium it would tear the thing apart. I assume there will be some way to remove the tarp material so it would lessen some of that wind tunnel effect, but still, I would assume a hurricane would do heavy damage to that canopy structure...

BTW, that roof is pretty much the same design we saw proposed years ago...

If the team is winning, the stadium is full (if not mostly full) and its plenty loud. I think the result of the losing is being played out because the fans aren't packing the place.
Not compared to the Orange Bowl, which, believe it or not, is something that a lot of fans are still not happy with 25 years later. If this plan aims to improve the acoustics of Sun Life, to make the stadium louder and to try to get it closer to the Orange Bowl experience, that is a good thing.
Me say come, Mister Fisher man, show me da contract

Yeah I didn't see the other pics of the roof until now. I just don't like that square top. I know it's not a final but if they are heading towards something like that , they should at least clean it up and cut the corners off to match the shape of stadium. Looks awkward.

If they're going to upgrade it then get the seats closer. At the orange bowl the seats were right on top of the field and that was a big advantage for our team. Noise is a big part of the games and it's hard when you're so far from the field. It's not intimidating enough.

    This team wont move ever.
Too much history, and its too difficult to realign the NFL again.
Besides the only market that needs an NFL team is LA and the Jags, Vikes and Chargers are the only teams constantly mentioned to move there.

Its a stupid speculative comment by a ****ty journalist that should have been fired years ago.
Once Dmac is drafted a Dmac Jersey will spontaneously materialize in the closet of each and every Dolfan...

...and not that replica crap either...

I think this is a pretty decent proposal, from what I've seen. If they're hoping to fund the project mostly from Steve Ross's pockets, with the remainder coming from a tax rebate on stuff sold in the stadium (I'm A-OK with this) and a 1 cent increase in hotel bed tax in Dade county (outside of Miami Beach), then that's got to be very attractive for the county.

On the other hand, Ross basically just promised to land Super Bowl 50 if this is approved, which means that either he has assurances from Roger Goodell or he is dancing on the head of a very sharp pin.
