Team source says Joe Philbin is conducting his coaching staff reviews this week, and #Dolphins are expected to retain entire staff for 2013
As I mentioned in another thread a couple of weeks ago, this would be the first time in over a decade that an ENTIRE Dolphins coaching staff returns in full.

Wasn't expecting any... Good for consistency and familiarity going into next year.

Good to have stability. No excuses not to be a playoff contender this year!

This team needs to make the playoffs next year. No excuses. The good thing is that we should expect to be the consensus #2 team in the AFC East with the instability with the Jets and Bills.

I'm not sure this is a surprise none of them did enough to get hired at another team with a promotion. They were a solid staff this year with limited resources. Sherman gets beat to death here but it is usually the same posters that want a new OC every year. Sherman did a solid job with little to no weapons at skill positions and a very porous oline. We fill some needs in the offseason and I look for the offense to open up more.

I thought the way the coaching staff was built was one of the great things philbin did. By bringing in Sherman, coyle, a lot of guys from the Iowa staff, he almost ensured that they would stick around for a little while.

Look at our roster than the schedule and rethink this thought.

Did you see the playmakers SF, GB, HOU, SEA, NE, BALT Had? Name 1 playmaker on our team that can compete with their "SECOND" best playmaker.

YOu wll never reach the playoffs with CLemons at FS, a position for a playmaker, with DT constantly being played when its jeapordizing your team, with SS and Marshall at CB, with 2 LB that are going to be older and slower, with 1 pass rusher, no off. line adn most importantly Bess and Hartline and Binns as your WRs.

But you will with Egnew aas your secret weapon !

Whenever I see this I always wonder if coaches aren't being held to an unfairly low standard relative to players. I mean, is there any chance whatsoever that they would conduct a review of the roster and conclude that there are no upgrades to be had, and therefore no changes will be made?

I can guarantee there are coaches on staff that aren't pulling their weight.

Er.... no. Needs? Nope. Could sneak in with the right signings and some luck? Possibly.
