I just find it humorous that I knew this before CK.

I missed it too, but to clarify, he was laid off and not fired. I didn't pay much attention to his work and don't know him. But I feel bad for people losing their jobs, especially in this economy and that environment.

Here are a couple of quotes:

    1. @MikeBerardino Rumors are true. I was laid off Thursday after nearly 15 years at the Sun Sentinel. Thanks to all who have reached out

Mike Berardino just confirmed via Twitter that he was laid off by the Sun-Sentinel yesterday after nearly 15 years there working as a baseball writer, Dolphins beat writer and columnist. He was told it was purely an economical decision and not performance based and is taking the news with nothing but class.

I, on the other hand, am still sick to my stomach and was feeling bad enough yesterday before I heard the news about Jeff Shain. You'll be hard-pressed to find two harder working journalists and just plain good people than Mike and Jeff, and for Jeff, this is the second time in less than five years, with the Miami Herald showing him the door first.

Is there no end in sight to this ****? Apparently not. I can't think of anything else to say at this point other than to wish both of these fine writers the best of luck going forward and hope for both of them to land back on their feet quickly!

This is the equivalent of Corky from "Life Goes On" debating Beetlejuice from the "Howard Stern Show" on the merits of supply side economics.

I really can't take two guys who are missing 4 buttons at the top of their shirts and holes in their jeans debating football too seriously

I think that they expected too much from Tannehill, the offense need to open up with playmakers and seam busters so he can be effective, If Jeff don't mess this up thhe dolphins can be pretty darn good this season, he should get what he needs but let philbin build this team, they need speed speed and more speed, and that equals to Wallace, Eifert, and Steadman Bailey.

An 83 Passer Rating in the 4th Quarter is ranked 23rd in the NFL? I find that hard to believe...
Btw if we could bend the tail down on your logo so it's the same shape as our Dolphin now, then yours is easily the best I have seen!!!
    Great work imo.
