I guess this closes the door on this leak, unless Dee is mincing words and the script is a variation of the official logo (ie: the real logo will only use the dolphin)...or unless he hasn't seen this one.
The original leaked photo was also very poor.

I don't think it's a logo as much as it is a wordmark. Many teams (including us) have wordmarks in addition to logos. Whether the Dolphin in that wordmark would tie in the logo is another matter.

I don't know why it is always the dolphin side shot. Not that this is an actual idea but why not look at some different angles of framing the dolphin or perhaps not even show the whole dolphin. As far as any leaked logos go I have not seen anything that looks like it was designed professionally yet. (I guess I don't know how to attach a pic!)

I found some more info from the MIke Dee's radio interview regarding the logo change...from Omar Kelly's Twitter:
