Draft a QB on day 3 of the draft and sign a vet. Let Devlin and the vet fight for #2, cut the other. Keep the draft pick as #3.

Odds are any QB you draft that you'd expect to develop or play would be a 3rd/4th round guy who falls. I'm not okay with Miami doing this, considering the draft talent available (likely) in that round. I'd prefer they keep Devlin, develop him, sign a guy like Brady Quinn or Campbell, and obviously Tannehill up front.

Our QB depth took a huge hit, but whatever. It's the backup role and I'm not entirely upset if we are going into the 4th quarter and a guy like Quinn/Campbell has to come in.

I would go with Devlin as our backup. What would you guys think about maybe drafting a QB like EJ Manuel out of Florida State? He is about 6'5", good mobility, nice arm....he needs to work on his accuracy, footwork, improving his delivery, but I think he could be a nice project. Maybe he turns into Steve McNair?

Use the franchise tag on Matt Moore? You want to pay Matt Moore over $15 million for one season?

Hate to see this guy go, moves Pat Devlin a little closer to being the starter if Ryan Tannehill stays the same and does not improve.

Devlin as primary back up and then draft a project for third string that will push him.

I don't see how the Quinns, Carr's, Tavaris Jacksons, Gradkowski's of the world are anything more than an expensive placeholders.

Draft a polished high floor rookie that can run our system.
