I have been pretty vocal these past few months that if Moore does sign with another team that I can really see Devlin being promoted to #2. Then I see the team drafting a quarterback in round 5 or 6 to be the #3 and also compete/push Devlin.

Hate to see this guy go, moves Pat Devlin a little closer to being the starter if Ryan Tannehill stays the same and does not improve.

Highly doubt Moore will get a "fair" shot on any NFL team.
Only ones that come to mind will want a fresh start with a new QB.
Jags, Chiefs will likely role with Gabbert and Cassel and draft QB's to groom.
Raiders will likely take a mid round QB to groom under Palmer.
Bills will draft QB out of Syracuse.
Cards will either draft a QB or roll the dice with Kolb and Skeelton.
I'm sure some team will promise him a "fair" shot in camp with decent money, but just dont see Moore as a starting QB on a NFL team as they stand today.

Moore is a nice guy......and a fumble waiting to happen. Good luck to him.

I find it interesting that some people felt Chad Henne was a starter and he just needed more time.

Matt Moore proved he could start and I felt he was never given the fair chance to improve. I mean when you flirt with the girl who has no interest in you (Peyton Manning) and you draft a QB as your number 1 pick, what kind of message does that send to Moore?
He had decent numbers when Henne (the old QB of the future got off us to an 0-3) was supposed to be the QB of the future by many on this board, and by the way, Tannehill started us out 0-3 in 2012.
Not many teams make the playoffs starting out 0-3.

Shows how much you pay attention. we thrashed the Raiders in week two, and Tannehill played great, so we did not start 0-3, good try though
happy trails matt moore...best case he's getting some other real comp in camp or the team he signs with is burning a high pick on a qb for the future...no ones handing him anything...
hoops scoops...prospects mia should target top 4 rounds 2013 draft...

I want Moore on the dolphins. I don't want him on the Jets. that said I think he deserves to start on an NFL team and I even that means the Jets I would do it if I were him. Conversely moore makes perfect sense for the Jets. They can probably aford gim and he is better than Sanchez. Especially as a team leader. Moore is a competitor. Lets just hope another team outside our division gives him the chance to start.
I expect Miami will give Devlin every opportunity to take the reigns on the back up quarterback job. That is how well run teams do it. They develop quarterbacks in house.
I'll be a Matt Moore fan for the rest of his career aside from him joining a rival. Classy all the way. He deserves a fair chance to start in the league.
