Devlin as primary back up and then draft a project for third string that will push him.

I don't see how the Quinns, Carr's, Tavaris Jacksons, Gradkowski's of the world are anything more than an expensive placeholders.

Draft a polished high floor rookie that can run our system.
Because you're getting someone who you know can immediately hop in and hold the ship somewhat upright, rather than risking a complete tank. You have other players to develop. A guy like Campbell/Quinn/etc... those guys are cheap, and not costing you the high 3rd/4th rounder to get a guy with a realistic "high floor" that you suggest.

And FRANCHISE TAG MATT MOORE? Holy hell I've read some hilarious **** in my day but... wow.

would people lose their cookies if we drafted Nassib in the 2nd round? Not sure I would. The kid can run our system. Not likely but I wouldnt rule it out. stealing a player that two rivals would love to have.

We wil draft a Qb with the compensation pick we get.

There won't be much demand for Ryan Fitzpatrick but he could be a serviceable backup to Tannehill.

So instead of giving Tannehill someone to throw to... You want a qb.... Er why?

we better not draft nassib in the 2nd round...and we better not bring in and waste money on any of those scrub veteran qbs as backup options i see mentioned in this thread...tavaris jackson...campbell...quinn...you want to give away money give it to charity

the backup should be devlin in 2013...miami should bet on tannehill staying healthy all season
hoops scoops...prospects mia should target top 4 rounds 2013 draft...

Both Alex Smith and Micheal Vick could potentially be FA's this year I believe; they could be good insurance.
