SAMMY WATKINS IS THE BEST WR IN THE COUNTRY & FUTURE MIAMI DOLPHIN!
that is just wrong. Most TE's get tackled right away as do most recievers. They are trying to catch a ball while a guy is gunning for him. What the hell do you expect? did Tony Gonzalez bring YAC to the game? Hardly. He just made big first down plays down the seam and everywhere and got TD's. Thats what we need. Let the WR's get YAC. Besides, if you think Eifert wont break tackles in this league you are smoking something.

You want YAC? Bailey will get you YAC as will others. Its a team concept and the concept of a TE is to be sneaky in formations as they line up all over the place confusing defenses as to whether they are blocking or reciving or both! That is why they look for good TE's who can also block.

AIR JORDAN
Well, in comparison to 2012, 2013 we should be well ahead of the curve. Much depends on who we resign IMO because if we dont resign Hartline, then some new reciever has to pick up the entire offense and Tannehill.
A few players come to mind in this regard for me. Naanee, Clay, Matthews, Lamar Miller.
Naanee set us back half the season at WR. Clay didnt pick up until midseason. Matthews wasnt given the chance until late and late in games. Miller the same.
Clay, Matthews, and Miller are keys to success next year IMO. If we get two more WR's who make this offense more threatening it should stand to reason that success will come much earlier than last year while we still lost a couple by overtime FG's. We are much more secure at WR than when Naanee was starting....what a concept. ugh!
You also have to remember who our stars were. Reggie Bush and Hartline although Hartline couldnt get TD's and Bush was not great in the stat dept. Bush is a key cog as far as next year is concerned. Alot next year is covered up in transition of new players IMO. It takes a bit to get acclamated to everything. Losing these two means it starts over but with better more of a fit type talent.
The defense kept its status relatively up but not so good in the takeover dept. Baltimore basically beat NE bye causing turnovers and scoring TD's. Philbin has already noted this. We need a some CB's and another S even if Clemmons is resigned. The rookies we got and kept will be further along and stronger with full offseason.
Tannehill showed alot of progress IMO. He started running with the ball but he should need less of that as he gets more secure targets every week. That was his biggest downfall. His supporting cast week to week was a progression and sometimes not even one at that!
LOL, one of your best Vaark, thanks for that.

He looked good for a rookie this season, next season he has to show that he is a good NFL caliber QB.
