I definately agree with Marino, Brady, and Manning, and probably in that order. Montana was incredibly lucky to be paired up with Bill Walsh in the early days of the WCO. He had very limited physical skills and, by today's standards, an extremely weak arm. He was a fantastic leader and was extremely accurate on the short to intermediate throws, but he would not accel in any other offense besides the WCO. He's not top 5 to me. Fouts was a beast, and usually doesn't get enough credit for his career accomplishments - he's in my top 10. Some may find it curious that you did not mention Elway or Favre - but I wouldn't mention them in my top 5 discussion either. Elway is probably on the fringe of my top 10; he's lucky a guy like Terrell Davis came along or he wouldn't even be in the conversation...Favre probably isn't in my top 15, he just wasn't that good.

I hate the idea that an individual isn't rated as highly as others because of the lack of a ring.
Dan Marino is the best passing QB in the history of the game.
Peyton is 2nd on pure ability, but it's really really hard to go past Brady's success.
Marino is the best pure passer I've ever seen. He is not the best QB I've ever seen. That guy played for San Francisco...and it wasn't Steve Young.
"If foot fetish videos of your wife surface online, and the voice of the cameraman sounds like you, just admit that it was you ... because the alternative is that someone else was filming foot fetish videos of your wife, and I'm pretty sure that's worse." - Bill Simmons's enduring lesson to Rex Ryan.
Why the hell is Aikman even on your list? Hmmm? The guys numbers aren't near any of the top QB's numbers. He was put into the HOF by a great OL, a great defense and Emmit Smith. As a QB, he was pretty average. He only had over 3000 yards 5 times in 12 years...
In the 90's I would put Elway, Favre, Young, Kelly and Marino all above him.

Marino
Brady
Peyton
I only rate players who I actually watched play games. Anything before the 80s I cant count and be realistic about it.

In my book... Brady retires with at least two more Superbowl rings and is remembered as the best QB of all time.
I will get hammered for this but if we had a cloning machine and we could pick one player to become a Dolphin right now I would probably take Brady over Marino if given the choice, don't get me wrong as a passer Marino is the clear winner, but when it comes to football intelligence and will to win, Brady is above everyone in my mind.
If you tell me I have to pick a team to play a game tonight and the result would decide the fate of peoples lives... I want Brady throwing the ball for me.
Comparing players from different eras is virtually impossible though, how would Montana do playing in a modern team

Here's a good measure for you. Take any quarterback of any generation and put them on the worst team in the league. Which one would you rather have if you were running that team?
In terms of skills and talent: Marino. In terms of results: Montana.
