I'm almost starting to want Jeff Ireland gone from the team just to stop all this damn bitching and whining about it already. FFS

Be afraid, Brady. Be very afraid!

I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

    Everyone is responsible for that!
How do you know Ireland or others wanted Big Jake more than Matty Ice?

Final say went to Parcells and we KNOW FOR FACT who he felt was the better pick.

It's like blaming Brian Gaine for all of Miami's current shortcomings.

    - NFL great Rod Woodson on Dan Marino playing in today's NFL: "If he played with these rules, he'd throw for 100,000 yards."

Because there are plenty of reports that Ireland and Sparano worked out Henne, Flacco and Ryan they reported to Parcells Henne was just as good.

Henne could have made that same throw Matty Ice did on 4th down too.

Haha a little playoff humor. I have seen just as many reporters report that Miami was highest on Flacco.

Flacco may be the best QB out of that class when it is all said and done.

Parcells screwed us over. He was in charge, he had final say. He has his own two eyes as well to evaluate talent.

Any attempt to shift that blame is wrong.

Well we're stuck with him like it or not. If Ireland can't improve the team with all the picks and cap space available, then he WILL be gone and rightfully so.

What if he won't be gone? What if Ross really doesn't give a damn about our Win-Loss record? What if it is only about making money to Ross and Ross feels like Ireland will be the best GM to implement his money making agenda? We're already seeing a power play to optimize profits on the stadium with the current publicly funded stadium renovation proposal. Why couldn't it be the case that Ross's agenda is to only pay minimum salary require by the CBA?

It's not like all owners are concerned about winning championships. There are enough Jeff Luria and Donald Sterling style owners around in pro-sports to make it clear that not all owners care about winning.

    So many hypotheticals there.

I'm just trying to find some logical reason why Ireland has not yet been fired. He certainly still isn't around as a result of the team's sterling performance over the last four years.

Right, housing a losing team is the best and fastest way to make money in the NFL.

    So much logic here.
