Then we'll be in he same old crap as last year.
Are you saying the QB position was THE reason for the "same old crap"?

I saw the video and it was really interesting but there is a lot more to being a QB than just the "arm". I'm sure that it's better that Devlin performed so well but I wonder if some of the elite QBs would do as well in this test and what that really means. If the arm were the main issue then it would be comparatively easy to grade which QBs coming out of college would be the best pro QBs.

He seems like he has made progress and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does this year - especially if he gets more reps against better competition if Moore leaves.

I honestly do not think Moore is worth a contract extension. Keep Devlin as number 2 and draft another QB late for reassurance

I think I'm close to agreeing with you but many are of the opinion that we should have a veteran to help with RT's development. The more I think about it the more I am leaning to letting Moore go to try to earn his shot with another team and taking your approach. This isn't meant as a slight to Moore but I think it might be best for both him and the team if he moves on because I don't think he'll be happy as a backup and even with all of our cap room we have a lot of needs on offense.

I know you love your son Mrs. Devlin, but Tannehill is simply a better QB than him...

If I could take your pain and frame it, and hang it on my wall,
maybe you would never have to hurt again...

Ireland really praised Devlin during his press conference today. Says his development has skyrocketed over the last 2 years.

Says who? Their college careers says the opposite. Last year's Preseason play says the opposite. Tannehill is a good athlete and can throw well, but playing and competing in games is what really counts. Watch what happens in the preseason this year...yeah I know he will be playing against the 7th and 8th stringers, but that's not his fault. Tom Brady in his 2nd season out performed Bledsoe in the preseason, but they went with Bledsoe. Then Bledsoe went down early in the season, Brady took over and the rest is history. Just saying..

Wait, you're actually Pat Devlin's mom? Or did you just ignore that little joke?

I think I'll trust the coaches who developed Brett Favre, Matt Hasselbeck, and Aaron Rodgers over the average fan on this topic. I think that maybe, just maybe, they may know more about QBs than you...

I think devlin will be the number 2 next year. I also think that there will be competition in the offseason between tanny and devlin. I think that tanny has the edge but i also would not be surprised to see devlin perform better again in the preseason. Will be a tough call by the coaching staff.
