No problem. I'll introduce the team to chili burgers at Tommy's, and the wonders of La Brea Tar Pits.

Then I'll spend several decades teaching the locals to despise the Jets, regardless if we remain in the AFC East. It won't make any sense to them but I'll explain that making sense of it has never mattered, just be prepared to lose the following week.

If Mike Dee doesn't tag along, a move might be well worth it.

The Canes can negotiate between the Coliseum and Rose Bowl until Ross builds a new home for them in Pomona.
    Hahaha hilarious!

AEG does business with a number of Las Vegas casinos. It's likely that Ross won't even be allowed to own an NFL team if he buys AEG.
no he'd still be allowed to own the Fins cause while they do business with casinos, they are not a gambling thing.

My point is way too many people made quantum leaps. AEG, which is an extremely profitable company involved with the sports and entertainment worlds, is up for sale so Ross puts in a bid. All people see is that AEG was backing the potential LA stadium (one that had not been approved yet from what I can tell... or at least hasn't broken ground yet) and know Ross just proposed state of the art upgrades for SunLife and has asked for money from the city (though he has never asked for it to be solely funded by the city. And I've read the articles so nobody can call me out on that) so all of a sudden people think Ross wants to move.

Which brings me to a couple conclusions
    1)People are idiots
2)Some are so intent to hate Ross they'll make up reasons to hate him
    3)People refuse to research

Obviously those points don't apply to everybody. But I do find it funny how there have been a few posters that have presented facts about how an AEG purchase has nothing to do with the Fins and some of the usual suspects will ignore those posts.

Let's hope so, and while we're at it, let's hope the Arison's are ready to buy an NFL team and be on their way of taking full control of Miami.

If the team moves, they won't be able to steal the Dolphins brand name and our history. They will have to call it a new name.

In which case, Miami will get a football team again at some point in the future, and then the Dolphins will be back.

It just basically just be a "hibernation" period. City of Miami keeps the dolphin brand, logo, and history, even if the team moves.

I wonder how many brain cells I lost reading this thread.

Not going to happen...they are not leaving the 6th largest market in the country. no market can be expected to support the ineptitude we have witnessed here the last 12 years.

There are several teams that would be moving before miami.

    and no...i would not.

    Nope

TBH the main reason I root for the Fins is because they're my home team, I was born and raised in Miami and I stick to them through thick and thin.

If I was from somewhere else, I'd probably be Much less optimistic about our team, and would probably join in the laughter about how pitiful they've looked year in and year out.

To be fair, being a Jaguars or Buc's fan would also be pretty lame.
