Some good pass rushers in this draft and we need to hit on a good one.
Our D is another good pass rusher away from entering top 5 status.

Watching the Senior Bowl too, I like what I see at CB. Especially since we may lose Smith.
You hit an important fact. Better pressure on the QB will make our secondary better. Do we need a CB, yes. But we don't have to have a "Revis" type player if pressure on the QB is consistent and hard. A good DE opposite Wake is huge.

    I'm now expecting BIG things.

Hell I'm pretty confident there is gonna be a trade that involves a damn good player, and Miami will be huge players in it. CK hinted at it and it makes alot of sense.

The one thing that I took out of it was that he says that they're looking for more playmakers (obviously) but also praised Egnew and Fasano which means the TE position will likely stay the same. I think that's a bit of a headscratcher because, while I do like Fasano, we need to get more athletic there.

Good thing other teams don't value playmakers too - should leave more for us. Yes, that was sarcasm. Sounds like the brain trust has been closeted with some FinHeaven members. Don't really hear anything that hasn't been debated on here the last few months but still good news that they seem to be in agreement with the majority of "High information" posters here.

The thing I like is Ireland is finally saying we need LOTS of help, that this is a BIG offseason, that there is a LARGE plan in motion, that HE is held accountable...

Quite a change in tone from the quiet guy talking about being happy with the team and "finding acorns". Good lord I hated the team acting like they were only a few pieces away when everyone in the world knew otherwise.

In agreement with the consensus that Ireland is all in with this offseason, realizes his job is on the line, and has quit trying to tiptoe around it. Man on a mission. Get it done, Jeff.
