Who could erase our DB at CB and FS ?

    Hello dolfans !

I'am curious to see how our FO will improve our DB because IMO after WR and Te it's another big hole to fill.

In FA 2-3 names seems interesting IMO.

1/ Marcus Truffant : Yes he's old now, but I think he could be a solid FA with ball Hawk ability

2/ Rodgers Cromartie at Cb would be a solid upgrade over Smith

3/ Captain Munnerlynn or Ryan Mouton seems solid CB too.

If after 2 or 2 signing like that we could draft Milliner or Banks and resign Patterson and re negociate the deal with Marshall, we could have a solid DB, just MO.

feel free to give Your Opinions guys.

    see you later here !
Sorry my english is perhaps not very good but I'am a french dolfan and it's the best I can do.

Don't think I agree with this.

I would re-sign Clemons, he improved toward the end of last year and will come cheap.

Rodgers Cromartie is NOT a Joe Philbin type player. The guy takes plays off consistently. I would go sign Derek Cox and another cheap verteran and draft a guy with one of our 1st 5 picks. Let Smith walk, cut Marshall and Patterson (both making way too much money) and re-sign one of the two if they are willing to take significantly less money.

Lastly, I would lock up Reshad Jones.

agree on reshard jones...............but we need a ball hawk at CB and a draftee too and for me if patterson and marshall resign for minus money, they would ba solid DB depht behind our Ball hawk and our draftee.

I think our bet bet is to re-sign Sean smith, re-sign chris clemons, re-negotiate dmitri patterson, draft Xavier Rhodes in the second round and draft baccari Rambo in the third round.

If you guys think Smith is a bad tackler, don't expect Rodg-Crom to impress you. I'd rather sign Cox like qmar says. I believe Sam Shields is a FA too. If GB let him walk, this would be a perfect fit. I'd let Smith walk, cut Patterson and sign Shields and Cox both

-also, resign Clemons. Even if he could be replaced, he could still be a valuable player to have. And it's not like he was terrible last year. I like him most of the time. I'm not sure any really great guys will hit FA, I doubt Byrd or Golson do.

-Come draft time, Draft a cb early (not necessarilly 1st round), and another cb/db mid-rounds too.

    CB:
    -Cox
-Marshall (cut option if 2 rookies?)
    -Shields
    -Carroll
    -Rookie
    -Rookie

    FS:
    -Clemons
    -Wilson

    SS:
    -Jones (extend this man!)

Obviously we'd need at least one other safety too, Amaya likely

we need guys that can generate turnovers. Smith is incaptable of picking off the ball. Same for Clemmons. They're both decent, but nothing more. The position could be upgraded. With who though?

-DRC is better than Sean Smith? I'd hate to see Miami fans bitch about DRC if they complain this much about Sean Smith ho boy.
-Sam Shields is an RFA, not UFA
-I think Miami let Smith test the free agency waters and sticks to their guns with money. I think they bring in a vet and immediately draft a guy in the top 3 picks.

I agree 150%.... I like Cox... pretty good player we may be able to get at a good price. man to man type guy. would be a good #2. then draft one CB with one of the first 3 picks. Let smith walk unless he takes a 4 year 20 mil type deal.

I don't really like any of the CB's in FA.

I think we need to sign a ball hawk CB ( need more interception than past years) and we will draft a CB with one of our 3 first pick.

Later I am all for draft Rambo too
