Actually hadn't thought about. Good point, my friend. Whenever I think about a semi-automatic weapon, I think of rifles. Would I be correct in assuming that combat shotguns are the ones that tend to be semi-automatic...?

Not necessarily. There are tons of companies that make semi-auto shotguns for the purposes of hunting and shooting sports.

Is it a machine gun?
Is it a semi-automatic rifle?

Back in the late 19th/early 20th Centuries it was a lever action rifle. In 50 years, it might be a laser.

I think its tehnically a machine gun which is why I used the quotation marks. For the purposes of that ban though, I think its a semi-auto rifle. Im OK with that.

I didn't vote because I honestly don't know. I've always had a pretty broad reading of the 2nd amendment but that's changing now. I don't know where I'll finally come down on it.

That's a little trickier, I'll have to gather my thoughts on it. I know combat shotguns are semi-automatic. I didn't know they had made them for hunting, too. That seems like overkill to me, but I'm no hunter so I can't really comment...

Yeah, even in Big Buck Hunter they don't have those. Real life shouldn't be easier than the video game.
