First, congratulations to Coach Fipp on the promotion.

It was unsettling to me the notion that we were bringing back the entire coaching staff intact next season. For us to do this meant that no other team in the league saw anyone among our assistant coaches that they thought to be worthy of promotion. If their collective judgement was correct, then we as a team should have been looking at the coaching staff to see if there was anyone who was not pulling their weight.

I feel much better to know that Philbin put together a coaching staff that contains coaches that the rest of the league feel are worthy of promotion. It speaks well of Philbin's judgement.

Unless I've missed a team out there are four teams with vacant special teams positions: Jaguars, Eagles, Cowboys and Cardinals. So it'll be one of those.

Yeah.. but at least we are not the Jets who's coaches are leaving and taking "lateral moves" to teams like the bills. It has been like the titanic over there.
