Its so funny hearing clueless fans rant about something they don't know anything about. I believe the Broncos had an easy road to the playoffs, in their division, so much so that Tim Tebow took them there (playoffs) after getting the starting job in Denver over Kyle Orton. So it should be easy for Peyton Manning, right...?

Football is all about "momentum" and intensity, but the Denver Bronco's should have beat the Ravens in this years playoffs, it was bad calls and taking a knee with 31 seconds (2 time-outs) left in the game and an ill advised pass across Manning's body while rolling right, doomed the Broncos.

To me, it appeared that the Patriots looked like they really missed Rob Gronkowski against the Ravens, while many of those silly "experts" claimed the Patriots didn't need him. But you can't ignore the fact that Gronk averaged 71 yards per game and scored 11 TD's and the Ravens played a really physical football and stole that game away from the Patriots.

Most importantly even when the Patriots played without the Gronk against the San Francisco 49ers (who made it to Super Bowl 47) back in December (remember...), Tom Brady hit seven different receivers for an astounding 425 yards, which is the most damn yards Brady put up in a single game the entire season. He also threw to then tight end Aaron Hernandez, who's the team's number two TE , whose was also Gronkowski's replacement, and Hernandez caught 92 receiving yards and scored a touchdown and a week earlier, and without the Gronk, Hernandez caught two touchdown passes and routed the then playoff-bound Houston Texans, and the Patriots racked up 42 points and close to 300 yards in the air.

My point is, the Patriots came close to tying the 49ers 41-34, but 4 turnovers killed them.

AFC East is a joke due to the jests and bills, but nothing compared to the debacle that is the AFC West. It's impossible to have an easier road than the Broncos had, that's taking a walk down the main street of Candyland.

The Dolphins are certainly part of the reason why the AFC East is a joke. And, much as it pains me to admit it, the Jets (though they're clearly on the downswing) have been more successful during this period of Pats' dominance than the Dolphins-- that's not saying much, of course.

due to the Jets and the Bills? Miami has been to the playoffs once since 2002 while the Jets have been 5 timnes in that same span and it's due to the Jets and Bills? You got the Bills right but you mixed up the other 2 teams.

I highlighted the bills and jests because I believe there's an inherent level of debacle to both franchises, currently and historically. The Bills greatest successes come with the bittersweet reality of falling just short and the jests are the least accomplished, most ridiculous franchise in sports history. The fact that falling assbackwards into tepid playoff runs has been some extraordinary achievement for them almost adds to the joke that is their franchise.

On mike Francesca today the callers are saying patriots have had the easiest road to Super Bowl last 15 years because bills and dolphins have been a joke for last 15 years...
Hopefully miami can get better and finally be competitive with the patriots.. It's starting to get embarrassing how many time the pats win the afc east!!

it also belive it or not and ive been a long time fan 20+years the fans need to be heard we need to let our displeasures be heard . i might get blasted for this but if we love our franchise as much as we say we do we need to step up and stay like a thron in the side of Mr Ross until we get this right.

I am not sure why Fat Mike's fans are all calling and ripping the AFC East or the Pats. Fat Mike's listeners are mostly Giant fans and the Giants beat the Pats twice for the SB, so maybe their SB wins were not that legit? Just a couple years ago everyone was ripping the NFC West, and now they have the Niners and Seahawks as two of the top NFL teams. What about the AFC West....you could say the Broncos had the #1 seed because the Chiefs, Chargers and Raiders blow. That's just the way it goes.
