Ah, yes, I did misread the point about the tag. I apologize for that. As for the rest of the post, I was spot on. You are absolutely judging Martin as an LT over that time frame, which is ridiculous. He played fine, even well at times at LT. He has room for improvement, of course, but so does every rookie. It also helps that he's playing in his natural position again rather than RT. None of that changes the fact that there was little difference between how our offense performed with him vs with Jake Boselli, which is a good example of how overrated that position is. We just need a solid LT, not a great one. Martin has certainly shown he is can develop into that, if not more.

That being said, I agree that we should resign Boselli to a very team friendly deal, which is nowhere in the top ten, or even top 15 LTs in the league. He is clearly on the decline in his career and clearly injury prone. Either way, we're going to have to address RT in the draft. Luckily, that doesn't require a high round pick.
