I don't think he reminds of Jason Pierre-Paul. The only guy in this Draft that I would compare with Jason Pierre-Paul is Cornellius Carridine.

Ezekiel Ansah reminds me a lot of Israel Idonije.

Funny how my tune is changing again watching Ansah get after it in an actual game. You are going to be way off on Ansah in the end.

Ansah's athleticism in this game is off the charts. Love the potential.

LOL...Willie McGinnest just compared him to JPP again at halftime...

On a side note, it seems like there's a lot of raw prospects that have off the charts potential at the top of this draft (Ansah, C.Patterson, D.Jordan, just to name a few). It seems like there are more of those types of players this year than previous years...

People are comparing him to JPP b/c of he's lack of football before college and b/c he plays DE....nothing else. They are 2 different players IMO. JPP was more finesse and athletic. Ansah is a little more stiff than JPP but stronger. JPP used to use his speed and arc around tackles. Ansah uses his strength and bullrushes guys.

the key is to look at a body of work, not fall in love with one game... or conversely, form an opinion based on one bad performance..

Well, I am in with Ansah. I think whatever rawness he has, he makes up for in effort. He outshined Datone Jones in speed/hustle IMO and he crushed Nassib on the fumble. nice closing speed for a DE.

My thing is now the CB's moving up in Trufant/Poyer. May have to get one in first round to lock up a good one.
