Thought I'd take a stab at my offseason plan...

I didn't think I'd post my offseason plan, but here it goes anyways...

    Re-Sign R.Bush (2 years, 7 mil. - 3.5 mil/year)
    Re-Sign R.Starks (4 years, 20 mil. - 5 mil./year)
    Re-Sign A.Fasano (1 year, 1 mil. - 1 mil/year)
    Re-sign C.Clemons (2 years, 4 mil. - 2 mil./year)

Let J.Long walk (he will be asking for elite tackle money when he's not an elite tackle anymore)
Let S.Smith walk (let him drop interceptions somewhere else)
Let Hartline walk (I'm on the fence about signing him, but in the end, I think he'll demand too much money than his one TD per season is worth)
Let Matt Moore walk (I appreciate everything he did here, but hopefully he'll get a starting chance somewhere else)

    - Sign WR G. Jennings (3 years, 18 mil. - 6 mil/yr.)
    - Sign TE D.Keller (3 years, 9 mil. - 3 mil/yr.
    - Sign RT S.Vollmer (4 years, 28 mil. - 7 mil./yr.)
    - Sign Brent Grimes (2 years, 8 mil. - 4 mil./year)
    - Sign QB Jason Campbell (1 year, 2 mil. - 2 mil./yr.)

Cut D.Carpenter and Sign Phil Dawson

    Draft
    Rd 1 - Dion Jordan, DE/OLB Oregon

    FB - Lane
    WR - G.Jennings, R.Mathews, Dobson

    TE - Keller, Fasano, Clay
    T - Vollmer, Yeatman
    G - Incognito, T.Bond

    PR - Thigpen, Mathieu

I like it but I don't think you can sign all those free agents with "only" $50 million

Yeah, you may be right. If that's the case, then I would pass on signing Reed and LeVitrie. Without those two, I would think that I'd be able to get under the cap...

I think Ed Reed will retire after they win the SB

I just read on rotoworld this week that he has no plans to retire. He has been linked to the Colts (because of his relationship with Pagano) and the Patriots (because he's one of Belichick's favorite players)

That would get you much closer. I might even let Fasano walk

Revised to make it more realistic...

I like your free agent signings except for Bush unless you can get him at a value. But realistically I think we may be able to get 3 of your free agents.

I think your draft placement is not realistic. Most of those guys will be gone well before we draft.
I got $500 on the Dolphins to win the Superbowl.

For the draft, I went by CBS Sports' projected draft rounds. I think the only one that's unrealistic is Hopkins and maybe Wolf, but those were the rounds they were listed at. A lot can change between now and then obviously, with the combine, etc.
