Everyone here keeps picking 3 highly paid FA to come to Miami, but you have to remember 2 things.....

1 - Miami has a lot of it's own FA to re-sign. That takes money.
2 - You don't want to cripple the franchise for years by giving out BIG money to a bunch of guys who aren't worth it. Bad contracts will haunt you forever. We are a young team that is not 1 year away from winning it all. If you spend all your money this year on good (not great) talent, you'll have nothing left in 1-2 years when you might really be 1 guy away from making a run. That is why you build through the draft and supplement the roster with solid fair priced veterans and the occasional high priced starter here and there.

Plus we want to keep some money for players that get cut for salary cap reasons from other teams toward the cut down date that can help our team.

People who want Mike Wallace really don't understand how overrated he is.

His FA bust potential is very high IMO.

its amazing to me that people dont want to pay Hartline 5 mil but will pay 9+mil for this guy who really was in the dog house regardless of what one omar kelly says.
