11 mil seems like too much. Salaries above 10 mil should only be for elite players and Wallace is NOT elite. He should be in the 6-8 mil range. Hartline should be in the 3.5 and under range. Its not my money, but there is a salary cap.
you either want to get better or you don't. You either want a playmaker or you don't. He's the youngest, fastest, proven guy we can get. he's going to be in his prime for another 5 years. something we can't say about jennings, nor Fitz. you gotta pony up and pay for that kinda talent. put your money where your mouth is.

Sure , we should bring back clyde gates at a discount and maybe we can wait until july and bring that 7-11 kid back. Put all that cap money in a christmas account for next season or maybe we can snag calvin or andre johnson in a few years.

What on God's green earth is your definition of "ELITE"

Since Mike Wallace entered the NFL in 2009 more than 320 wide receivers have played in the league. Only nine of them have recorded more receiving yards than Wallace over that stretch, only two have scored more touchdowns, and only three have averaged more yards per catch.

Only 20 wide receivers in NFL history have had more yards in the first four years of their career. He’s led the Steelers in touchdowns (or at least shared that lead) every year he’s been on the team, including this past season.

Wallace has only missed 1 game in 4 years and is only 26 years old

Guys like Wallace and Jennings are definitely worth it. Hell, we can even sign both if we really wanted to!

Be afraid, Brady. Be very afraid!

I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

He's not Vincent Jackson, but damn he would open the field up. I'd certainly resign Reggie if we resigned Wallace . . . to have that kind of speed outside and in the slot would just be huge to this offense. Now just get me some Jared Cook down the seam and we may do something next year.

11 M is the starting figure. Once a few teams start to make offers I reckon you are talking 14 million

werd, they can have him at 14 million. 11 is pushing it, but I realize it's Free Agency.

How did that work out for Tampa Bay when they went out and paid Vincent Jackson. Are they in the playoffs? Nope.
LOL. Come on, man. That is asinine. Jackson was huge for their offense and he was instrumental in keeping them in playoff contention for much of the season. You can't seriously be looking at it that way. Can you? The fact is, Tampa has one of the youngest rosters in the league and they are still devoid of talent at some key spots.
