That all being said our back field is what really concerns me more that anything else. I believe a strong effor to resign both Clemons and Smith should be made as well as addressign the area in the draft. Patterson should be kept as well and release Marshall. While I see us drafting a DE high in the draft I see the CB and OT as holes to be filled through the draft and FA. Yes I also see the WR but I am betting on Wallace or the like in FA. Bess, Mathews along with Binns gives us depth we did not have last year. A top guard in FA along with a the WR position would go a long way to addressing our weaknesses real quick.

Just curious: do you guys see Miller as a 3-down back? I do not, personally; couldn't do it at UM, little evidence he can do it in the NFL.

(Not saying this is a deal-breaker for keeping/not keeping Reggie.)

Good i just wish we had played miller more this past year in order to know what we have at this point. But the time he was in there he showed a lot of promise.

Lacy will be a 2nd rounder, maybe even a low 1st. Doubt we draft a HB high in the draft, even if Bush doesn't sign.

as I was reading through this thread this is exactly what I was thinking. These players are the exact players these Ireland haters thrashed him for picking, now all of a sudden they want these players back? Double standards a plenty!

It's difficult to change the core of your team in one offseason.
