It's one thing to focus on certain stories to push one's agenda's, or even to omit pertinent information to prove a point. Every media outlet is guilty of that. But how many times is MSNBC going to have to get caught editing video/audio before they are held accountable?

At least 4-5 that I've personally posted about in this forum. Those were the big ones that popped up during major political events the last few years that I felt were worth commenting on. I've seen several that I didn't bother posting/mentioning. It's a pretty common practice among "news outlets" these days. I specifically remember one where CNN called out Fox News on the air because they were both reporting on the same protest outside the white house, and Fox used footage of a different protest to make the crowd look bigger than it really was...

I don't post here much, so I was unaware. It only goes to show, the media isn't concerned about informing the masses. Ratings and political spin are the main priorities. If it means trumping up a story to accomplish those objectives, so be it.

It seems to have coincided with the 2000 election fiasco. I mean, news was always biased, but after that, it seems not a single **** could be given about objectivity anymore. I don't know if you're aware, but Rupert Murdoch's son bought a newpaper in England and tried some of the same junk that's widely accepted here over there. They caught him tapping into phone lines, which spurned an investigation into the paper, and after all the biased crap they were doing was uncovered, the newspaper was shut down. It's interesting how the U.K. had zero tolerance for subjective news, but it's widely accepted here. Cultural relativism I suppose...

They just truncated Hilary Clinton's comments about the Benghazi investigation. Cut her off mid sentence to pass judgement. Also the entire Obama "you didnt build that" hype during the election, for weeks they repeatedly aired the editted version of that clip, never letting Obama finish his point. They fanned that flame as fast as humanly possible. As well, how about that "redistribution" clip from Obama in the 90's? They played that up even though it was editted.
