The Miami Dolphins have named Marwan Maalouf as their assistant special teams coach and announced a series of promotions, including defensive assistant coach Charlie Bullen to assistant defensive line coach, offensive assistant Ben Johnson to assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor to quarterbacks coach.
Maalouf was the Colts Special Teams Coordinator last season. Their unit was decent but still the team and Maalouf mutually parted ways. Seems like a decent replacement for Fipp.

I didn't realise Zac was the assistant coach, who was the QB coach? Sherman?

They didn't have a quarterbacks coach in title last year. Sherman(offensive coordinator) and Taylor(assistant QB coach) did that role, so it is not surprising they gave Taylor the full title this year.

Here is a link to the Colts forum when Maalouf and the team split earlier this month. For the most part they seemed shocked by him leaving.

Seems odd that the Colts got rid of Maalouf after just one season. I wonder what happened?

Especially with Darren Rizzi in place, this seems on the surface like a pretty good, high potential gain, little risk, type hire.
