    I was just about to post this.

    Even though it may hurt in the short term, I think this was a good move for Memphis. They got a decent player in Prince, a nice young big in Ed Davis, and a filler in Daye. I would have liked to see what the Grizzlies would do with the team they had, but I know this move was because of money.

    I don't get it. They already had dumped enough salary to get below the luxury tax and this deal doesn't save them all that much over the next couple seasons. Why not give this group a shot? If it doesn't work out its not like you're going to get less value for Gay than a 2nd round pick and easy Ed.

    Toronto at least should be a bit more fun to watch. I wonder if they'll put Gay at the 4.....put DeRozan, Lowry, and Ross around him and you have a little Miami small ball in Canada.
