Doubt it. Wake was a rare, rare CFL player.
He was never meant to be there.

SAMMY WATKINS IS THE BEST WR IN THE COUNTRY & FUTURE MIAMI DOLPHIN!
Didnt the pats just sign a couple of guys from up there in the hopes they will get the next wake?

The best wide receiver prospect in the CFL right now is Chris Matthews of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Great size (6-5, 230), athleticism and hands - he is the entire package except lacks blazing speed. A lot like Brandon Marshall but without the locker room drama. However, he doesn't become a free agent until next year, and we can expect a lot of competition for him. Apart from him, there are no can't-miss guys at WR - just some smurfs (Chad Owens, Chris Williams) and some fringe guys (SJ Green, Fred Stamps, etc.). Sorry.
Having said that, it's not an exact science. I mean, I knew Jerrell Freeman was a good player, but thought he would just be a special teams guy in Indy - had no idea he would become their starting MLB, get 145 tackles and be their defensive MVP. I think this year's can't-miss from the CFL is Jovan Olafioye, but who knows?
