    Future Super Bowl Musical Ideas?

Mixed reviews on the SB music, with nothing bad. It was good to see someone under 50 at halftime but, in spite of a great show, nothing special. JMO

Your choices for future singing America The Beautiful, Star Spangled Banner, and half time shows.

With all the "Musical Mavens" on the forum, this should be good.

    Sex Pistols.

Not sure why the NFL continues to shove pitiful acts like Destiny's Child down the football fans throat. No one wants that crap. Get out of here. Yeah, those chicks are hott, so Google image those broads. They look good, they don't sound good. Destiny's Child should have been aborted.

Get some old school rock out there and give back to the football fans. Make it your way of apologizing to football fan for sissifying the sport we love. Bunch of frauds.

Stop butchering the national anthem by trying to sing it "your way." Get Lee Greenwood out there to sing that **** right. Enough of this commercialized garbage. It gives me the ****s.

I would go with a kids choir for America The Beautiful from some kind of competition to get there.

I would go with a combined Armed Forces Choir for the "Star Spangled Banner."

And I would go with a for real "Marching Band" for the halftime show, again by a competition to be there.

It may not be the entertainment the world wants to see but, it is OUR game, and how the vast majority of halftime shows are done. JMO

No more country, rap, or mindless pop. FWIW; Prince, in the rain in Miami was the best of recent memory.

I'd like to see Queensryche (my Favorite band). It'd be nice if there was a reunion but until then Geoff Tate's version of the group.

Other ideas... Any group that is in Heavy Rotation SiriusXM's Octane or Ozzy's Boneyard.

It could be worse. We could have a Donny& Marie show.

    Future Super Bowl Musical Ideas?

Van Halen would be a hell of a halftime show... For America the beautiful I would get a children's choir and star spangled banner I would get the armed forces choir

Love the VanHalen suggestion. Also a Pink Floyd reunion concert would be nice.

Next year is in Jersey. I'm betting on Bon Jovi.
