Question On What Is Known About Logo/Uniform Change

Dolfans,

I have read that the Dolphins have acknowledged they have changed the "logo" however what I have not read or heard from the phins officially is have they made changes to the unifrom (beyond the new logo appearing on the uniform), Im not a fan of change and Im concerned this logo & possible uniform change will be for the worse.

If change is unavoidable Id hope that Ross goes retro and finds a way to incorporate the older look and not go with an all out divorce from tradition and turns this into some new world dolphins look.

In the end we have little control over what takes place (although I remember when Wayne was considering a major change and the fans rebelled ttherefore keeping things status quoe) looking forward to seeing the official logo mean while if anyone knows if there will be uniform changes as well please let me know as much as you know.

There will be both a logo and uniform change. The colors are said to be going back to a more aqua blue of the 70s and 80s (no more teal green) and the uniforms will have a throwback feel to them.

The logo will look less like a cartoon and the helmet on the dolphin will be gone.

Mostly speculation. Change in color to older throwbacks and a new logo that's meant to look more modern. Nothing official yet.

From what I heard we are getting a whole new number font. So no more blue shadow drop (which I've always liked). So look out for Nike to totally change our Numbers to look like water waves, or something of the sort. Also we are keeping our current aqua color. And will not be going anywhere near a throwback logo/uniform. I can def promise that.

I can tell you I was part of a discussion with team President Mike Dee who said it is a combination of retro and modern and that it has been shown to Dan Marino Nat Moore and Bob Griese who " loved it" and said we " nailed it". None of the leaked logos have been verified but the one above has the most clout behind it. And yes the uniform will change.

2 weeks ago Mike Dee backtracked on that statement and said that Marino and Griese have not seen the logo. I asked him the question regarding those reports during an interview on the Finsiders.

Sounds like they saw the one the Dolphins thought they were going with and then they picked a new logo, maybe.
