I'd be fine with DB or WR in round 1. In fact, I really hope it's Patterson. I just hope they don't go tackle to replace Long in Round 1
If it's Lane Johnson then I'm perfectly OK with that. The reason is, I think Lane Johnson could actually be an upgrade over Jake Long. I love Jake and think in the right scheme he's one of the top tackles out there, but in THIS scheme Lane Johnson might be a better fit...and a lot cheaper.

Taking Lane would really close the book on Jake Long being a mistake at #1 overall in 2008...but it doesn't matter. What's passed is passed.

My short-short list right now would include Lane Johnson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Dee Milliner, Johnthan Banks, Tank Carridine and Kawann Short.

I don't think Miami plays the defense for him, to be honest. Like him though. Think he's going to be a good player.

I'm really starting to think that it's either going to be a LT or Corner.

It's going to be Cordarelle Patterson, Dee Milliner, or Jonathan Banks. I don't even entertain the possibility of Long in any way shape or fashion being allowed to walk. Long will either re-sign for 4 more years or get the tag and be replaced "next" off season. Take that to the Federal Reserve Bank as far as I'm concerned.

I wouldn't have thought Jake Long leaving to be possible either but they seem pretty serious about it. Who knows. Could just be posturing.

But even if Jake does come back, if Randy Starks doesn't then that could open the way for a defensive tackle like Kawann Short.

I hear you. Though I would be of the mind that if they can't reach an agreement with Starks, they'd move Odrick inside, re-sign Mcdaniel, and sign the probably available Cliff Avril or Michael Bennett or Johnson.

Milliner or lane is pretty much my list unfortunately. No one else would do it for me in the first rnd, unless we traded back. I'm pretty much preying some qbs find ways to shoot there stock into the top 15 and maybe force a team to trade up with us, or force other players to drop.

I agree 100% with what these guys have to say. The fins really picked a good year to be in the market for WR's. 3 studs (Bowe,GJ,Wallace) on the wire and the draft class is just so deep. On the flip side their really isn't a clear cut ready to play STUD such as Mega-Tron, but we would not of been bad enough to draft them anyways. I would definitely hold off on patterson or Allen in rd 1, if Dee Milner slips to you, you take him and don't ask questions. Guy is a sure thing and their aren't many of those. IF he is gone then I think Pass Rusher or a trade down and is in order.

Bailey,Hopkins,Woods,Wheaton,Williams,Austin all could be available in rd 2. I actually think Austin and Hopkins are the 2 most ready WR's coming out now. Don't get me wrong Keenan Allen and Patterson
have the most upside (along with Woods), but I think As far as instant impact goes, Tavon Austins potential is Percy Harvin and I really really like Hopkins who came on super strong at the end of the yr for Clemson.
