I love it but don't think Rhodes will make it to our first pick in the second round much less the second. However, if we could pull this off it would be outstanding.

If Rhodes runs a sub 4.5 40 he's a realistic option for our first round pick. Either way i don't see him getting out of the first round.

Yeah the combine will change everything, right now i've just been looking at walterfootball.com and seeing around where they have players going and making my basis off that. If patterson isn't there in the first then maybe take banks, then justin hunter in the second and then ertz with the later 2nd pick i'd be happy with that too

Banks is a very good bet for our #12. I don't see Miami giving Sean Smith the money he is seeking so CB could become the biggest need come draft time.

    Re: 3 rd. mock

If we can trade down in the first, I am totally on board with Rhodes, Banks, or Trufant. However, I think 12 is too high for any of them. Milliner is the only one really worthy of 12 right now. That may change after the combine though.

I do think CB is the best position to draft in the first round right now. There is a lot of value at WR, DE, and OT in the second and third. I also don't think any of the aforementioned CB will be available at 42.

Poyer at 42 would be another good option.

Question regarding CBs: I hear truant after his senior bowl apperarance is making claim as the best cover corner in the draft, although he might not have the physical intangibles of banks or milliner.

Is he someone worth considering at 12, possibly over a banks? Looks like he's not gonna make it out of the first round.
