    Hartline seeks L.Robinson's 5yr 32.5mil

6.5mil a year seems a little high for a guy that's a number 2 at best and probably a 3 for most teams.

I think 5mil a season is a good deal for B.Hartline but if the major FA pick-up is Jennings/Wallace/Bowe than I think BH does not get a deal here. A high priced FA, D.Bess and some fresh young blood will do fine heading into next season.

    What do you think?

    C. Patterson and Jennings is what I think.

I hate to develop talent and let them walk but his asking price is crazy. I really like the rapport RT has with him on the field but there is no way he signs a deal like that on the FA market.

This is last weeks old news.
Here is the rotoworld tidbit. If anything that's where negotiations would start at for hartline, then down from there.
It's still early in the re-signing process, but at the same time fair to wonder if Hartline's price tag is out of Miami's target range. It's believed Hartline wants roughly $33 million over five seasons, indicating he's pinpointed Laurent Robinson's five-year, $32.5 million contract as a negotiating baseline.

How much would franchising Hartline cost us?

If he got in the end zone at least 7 times, he'd be worth that money... I wonder what team will offer him that kind of money because I hope it's not the Fins.

Exactly. Robinson scored 11 TD's the year he got paid. If Hartline got 7-8 last year, I'd say that money is fine.
