    That's some expensive curl route!

Love Hartlines worth ethic, hands, and uncanny ability to make circus esque catches, however he just constantly falls down after catching the ball, in the Arizona game, he beat a guy deep and got caught from behind, his ONE actual TD this season, he was literally WIDE OPEN nobody around him for 10 yards and STILL got caught by the safety and ironically got tripped up and fell into the endzone, he did a double move and burnt cromartie and yes Tannehill slightly over threw him, but his lack of real speed stops him from catching that ball in stride and going for an easy 60+ yard TD, instead Hartline completely laid out and made a great catch, but you know somone like Mike Wallace catches that in stride and takes it to the house. I feel like he sometimes gives up the natural catch too soon and goes for the circus, full layout, backflip catch which will never get him YAC

6.5mil a year seems a little high for a guy that's a number 2 at best and probably a 3 for most teams.
This is not a bad FA price. Hartline is a very productive receiver and a favorite of Tannehill.

The production dictates less money. Then add a number one receiver and a much improved TE and Hartlines numbers will drastically shrink, thus making 6.5mil look like it's 15mil. Jennings or Wallace and Cook or Ertz/Eifert with D.Bess means the other two guys should be vet minimum or draft pick prices. 6.5mil would get us A.Levitre a starting guard that fits the system and is an instant upgrade to the offense. Adding Wallace and Cook means a draft pick could fill in for Hartline and give us the same production which I predict will be 700yards 2/3 td's.

I think it's too much money for what we're getting in return.

6 yr -$33 million i would take - also i would love too have -
Wallace / Jennings as #1 - Patterson at 12 if Milliner is gone - HArtline as #2 wr with Patterson, #3 bess - in the slot. that would give the chance of Wallace / Jennings, PAtterson / HArtline / Bess as a 4 wr set. wow! also have MAtthews - fuller and Moore as the 5th WR - you need too have an extra skill full WR on deck for the injurys. dont want too have be signing wrs off the street in Nov - Dec since they have no depth.

Keep continuity around RT folks. That should be a goal over the next few years. If RT is successful the team will be as well.

That doesn't mean over pay guys equals success. Over paying gets you the NYJest situation, over paid under performing players.
Signing Jennings or Wallace and drafting a receiver makes Hartline a 3rd or fourth option and that's silly to pay a man 6+mil a year for. Get Swope in to keep continuity around RT.

Throw that contract into the end zone and see if he can reach it
